I completely forgot to post this in March when the signs went up. These signs are posted along a stretch of road that we frequent nearly daily. The locals really love their frogs. If you 're unfamiliar with the european signs, this set of signs is nearly hilarious to us americans. They indicate that you must watch out for the frogs crossing the roads by driving at 30 km/hr (or about 18 mph!) between the hours of 7pm and 4am. They even put up a frog fence every year to keep the poor frogs from being squished in the road. Never mind the highway of death that is the farm roads ridden with squished slugs. Ah, humid climates...
