Halloween fun was had by all! We carved pumpkins the night before last and then yesterday Heidi and the kids went to a neighborhood Halloween party. Shortly after dark we went trick-or-treating (or 'Suesses oder saures' auf deutsch) around our cul-de-sac and several houses beyond. Ren wasn't too wild about it initially but once someone gave him candy, he was all about getting to the next house as quickly as possible! For info, Ren was 'Pip the purple dragon' again this year and Kate went as herself (she wasn't terribly interested in costumes when Heidi went to dress her up!)...
