With Drew in DC, I took the kids to Holzmaden to dig fossils with some friends. It was certainly hot digging in a big pit of rock, but Kate took it easy in the backpack and Ren dug with his buddy, Aiden. I'm not sure Ren actually found any fossils, but really liked the hammering.
