Visiting in Garmisch before Christmas

We were fortunate enough to be able to see the Ryan family in Garmisch-Partenkirchen just before Christmas.  The weather was beautiful (not too wintery, but great hiking weather) and we took a walk up the Partnachklamm (Partnach Gorge) in the afternoon...it was wonderful!
