Haga Sophia...wow

This was the highlight of the trip for me (Drew)...it was built around 500AD and served as a Christian church for 1,000 years.  It was then converted to a mosque when Constantinople was conquered and then spent 400 years as a place of worship for muslims.  It became a museum in the 1930s and now it's fascinating to see the BVM looking down over a mihrab.
