Luxembourg for the weekend

We spent the New Year's Eve weekend in Luxembourg. Scotty's Dad crash-landed a B-26 at an auxillary airfield just outside Luxembourg City sometime late in 1944 (they think) and we wanted to visit the area. We stayed just outside the city and were able to visit the American cemetery (where Gen Patton is buried), the airport (now the international airport), the Sandweiler German cemetery, and the museum at Diekirch.

The area was beautiful and the city is definitely worth spending some time in. I'm not sure we're ready to admit it to all our friends for fear they'll not call us native Texans, but I've got a little secret......we ate at Chi-Chi's (Mexican food chain out of business in the US, but not in Belgium and Luxembourg).
