We just returned on Friday evening from our Thanksgiving trip to Belgium. We rented a house outside the city of Bruge and spent the week looking through the city and around the area. We'd be hard pressed to say that we've seen a more pretty and complete city than Bruges so if you have a chance, we'd really recommend a visit. Other than eat chocolate and mussels (ok, french fries as well), we got out to Zeebrugge, Calais, and Damme.
