If you look really carefully at one of these, you can see how Italian police pull unsuspecting touristas over. My motto is, "any traffic stop that you can drive away from smiling was a successful traffic stop!".
...and these were on the beach in Laigueglia. The kids loved the beach and it was a very civilized experience. We rented our chaise lounges along with our umbrella for the day and were able to take advantage of the changing cabanas, hot showers, playgrounds, and everything else! It felt very fancy.
