Stockholm really was wonderful. Drew and I took some friends up on a generous offer to watch Ren and Kate and we headed out for a long weekend. Stockholm may be the most beautiful city I've seen architecturally. We lucked out with the weather and had pretty warm days the first two days. We managed museums, ferries, and dining out. We felt like we walked forever, but we could cover quite a bit of ground without the kiddos.
Whatever progresses we've made in our language skills vanished into thin air in Sweden. Wow, nothing made sense. Fortunately everyone spoke at least a little English and we found the Swedes incredibly friendly. We hope to take Ren and Kate back camping to see some smaller parts of the country.
