Though having been a tourist trap for hundreds of years and the largest tourist destination in Normandy, we thoroughly enjoyed Le Mont-Saint-Michel. We were able to park without getting wet (the tide was way, way out to sea 10+ miles) and made the trek all the way up to the abbey at the top. The views and the architecture made the hike well worth it. Unfortunately, Ren knew EXACTLY where the ice cream vendor was located on the way out!
